Jung Il Woo recently embarked on a journey to Canada in order to shoot a sporty pictorial titled ‘Reality Bites’ for ‘CECI‘ magazine, hoping to find his true inner persona during the shoot.
Outfitted in North Face products, Jung Il Woo pulled off the ‘outdoor look’ wonderfully. He also drew out his candid spirit while sightseeing, even capturing the beautiful scenery himself with his own camera.
The star was interviewed about his ‘real road trip’, and he said,
“I like to exercise, and during the shoot, I got to experience things that I wasn’t exposed to before, such as kayaking and hiking. I was able to do a variety of activities, so I feel that I got to experience far more energetic things than what you would usually experience during a photoshoot.”
Jung Il Woo is currently reviewing scripts for his next work, after wrapping up SBS’s ‘49 Days‘ .

Jung Il Woo rebels for ‘InStyle’

Jung Il Woo has showcased his chic and rebellious charms for a special 100th edition of ‘InStyle‘.

Jung Il Woo talks about his friendship with Lee Min Ho & Kim Bum

On an episode of KBS’s “Entertainment Relay” that aired earlier today, actor Jung Il Woo, who appeared as a guest on the show on June 9th, discussed his close friendship with fellow actors Lee Min Ho and Kim Bum.
The reporter asked, “We heard that you, Lee Min Ho, and Kim Bum are all close with each other. When the three of you meet up, what do you guys usually do?“ Jung Il Woo responded, “Since Lee Min Ho and I don’t drink, we go out to eat, drink coffee, and chat. We hang out at home too.”

When asked whether he felt any rivalry between him and Lee Min Ho, he answered, “I don’t pay any attention to that stuff. If a friend is working hard and doing well, it triggers emotions, but nothing like jealousy or envy. We really just support each other.”
The reporter persisted, “If you found yourself in a love triangle with Lee Min Ho, what would you do?” Jung Il Woo sensibly replied, “I would just talk it out with him.”

Jung Il Woo goes on a guerrilla date with his fans in Hongdae

In the show’s traditional style, fans immediately recognized the “49 Days” star and swarmed around him and his camera crew. Jung welcomed his fans’ embrace and regarded each of them with a warm smile.
Although he had tweeted his fans a meeting location prior to the recording, the mass influx of fans that showed up led him to spontaneously change his course.

Jung Il Woo looking dark and ominous for “Singles”

Actor Jung Il Woo, who’s currently playing the role of a modern day grim reaper in SBS’s “49 Days”, recently took part in a black and red photoshoot with “Singles” magazine.
The combination of black and red gives a fantasy-like feel to the shoot, especially with the added effect of the different moons used as the backdrop.
His leather fashion details and smoky eye-make up reminds viewers of ‘Edward Cullen’ from “Twilight” in some, but the actor still manages to pull through with his own suave charm.

Jung Il Woo suffers an injury to his nose during the filming of “49 Days”

It was recently reported that actor Jung Il Woo had suffered an injury to his nose during the filming of his current SBS drama, “49 Days”.
Viewers and fans became aware of his nose injury during the broadcast of the 12th episode on April 21st, where a bright blue bruise on the bridge of his nose was clearly visible in one of his scenes.
Jung Il Woo’s agency, NOA Entertainment, came forward to explain, “During the recording of the 12th episode, Jung Ill Woo suffered an injury that caused a severe bruise on the bridge of his nose. Despite the pain, Jung Il Woo decided to finish his filming before heading off to the hospital, where he was later diagnosed with a crack in the bone of his nose. Currently, his nose is suffering severe bruising and swelling, but due to his filming schedules, he is currently unable to receive immediate treatment.”
They continued, “Jung Il Woo himself doesn’t want to impede or cause difficulties to the filming schedule, so he has been covering the bruise with make-up for the time being. This method does have its limitations, so it’s inevitable for his bruise to show up on screen. We hope for the viewers’ understanding.”

Stars celebrate selection of Pyeongchang as 2018 Winter Olympics host

After earlier reporting that Pyeongchang will be the host for the 2018 Winter Olympics, stars have been posting online messages to express their sincere congratulations and happiness.
Singer HaHa tweeted on the dawn of July 7th after it was announced that Pyeongchang won the bid to host the 2018 Winter Olympics, “Ya~~! Pyeongchang!!!“.

Singer Yoon Jong Shin also wrote “At my destination, I heard that Pyeongchang was confirmed. Congrats congrats. It’s enough that we can continue after 7 years and 3 tries.
Se7en expressed his happiness too as he wrote, “This July 7th (07-07) is Se7en day! For the last 8 years, lucky seven day was an anniversary for me. But today, it’s the nation’s seven day! Pyeongchang! GO KOREA YEA!“.
Announcer Bae Hyeon Jin of MBC’s ‘Newsdesk‘, who was commentating on the selection process of the venue, wrote on her twitter “I sincerely congratulate Pyeongchang’s success.”

Jung Il Woo is gay?

I guess Jung Il woo decided to follow in the footsteps of Lee Min Ho.
This famous actor has confirmed that he will be playing a gay character on stage for his next project. It’ll be a pretty exciting experience for him since this would be his first time on stage playing a gay character.
On the 4th of February, he will perform in the play Beautiful Sunday at the Hanyang Repertory Theater. Jung Il Woo commented, “Because I play a gay character, there are some challenges. However, I get to play a character that doesn’t come around often so I’m looking forward to it.”
The only difference between Lee Min Ho and Jung Il Woo is that Jung Il Woo is playing a character who is actually gay whereas Lee Min Ho’s character is faking homosexuality. It’s kind of a coincidence since they’re best friends!
